I agree that out of the box AI output is about as enjoyable as a shopping mall. I've been enjoying adding 'in the style of' to my chat prompts. Hemmingway. Carl Sgaan. Pooh bear. Maybe one day it'll be something we add t

With this tool I am wary that I'll encounter system issues that are dramatically more difficult to diagnose and troubleshoot because I'll have drifted from a standard distro configuration. And in ways I'm unaware of. Is this

This is right in the Musk wheelhouse. As SpaceX is to Boeing, and Tesla is to GM/Ford, ______ is to Intel. I'm surprised he hasn't made a move in this space.

My understanding is this preference is a little known schism in Britishisms and American English. In American English, a scheme is an unscrupulous, nefarious plan villains make. Often accompanied with riotous laughter. In British English, i

Excellent read around the acrobatics of timezone software. It really is quite flexible. It leads me to wonder. If it's all just an automated and finite offset, there's no reason for daylight savings policies to hew to 60 minutes a

I've been using OpenTracks and Nextcloud for this purpose. The UI is pretty basic and the elevation not accurate, but mostly gets the job done. Would love to have a TUI for something like this.

Always interested to read how others are choosing their tools, but if you don't want to get as bogged down in these details and are more inclined towards a rolling distro, I can vouch for Manjaro Sway. I've been using it for three

I am fascinated by the concept of blood pressure as one of the foremost tools of health. Can someone recommend perhaps a book size read on the history of how we came to learn of its value and help illuminate well... what it even is?

I wouldn't lump Cardinal and MiRack. The latter is more audaciously wrapping an outdated VCV and selling it on the App Store. I would like to throw my bones at VCV for such a thing. Hopefully they are working on it.

I'm a little torn on how I feel towards the Cardinal project. It claims not to be a fork on a technicality. It brings some improvements certainly and VCV dev has felt stagnant the last couple years, but it's also a little uncomfor
