This is getting complicated. OS process management, threads and lightweight pocesses, green field process control, virtual machines, containers, sandboxing in n browsers with m different technologies, now this WASM stuff..and orchestrating

I am wondering more like why can't the government be a bigger version of IETF, with the deliberate democracy ideals of Habermas: https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=363840

So does Go. And in Plan 9 all compilers did. I bet this is the first exmaple of a humorous Hello world in C with Unicode smileys in identifiers: https://youtu.be/dP1xVpMPn8M?t=695 , by Dennis Richie I think.

Corals naturally suffer from many hazards, and they naturally recover. Climate change makes it worse. How much worse? I am not qualified to answer that. "...disturbances such as bleaching, cyclones and crown-of-thorns outbreaks are oc

I have high expectations for free apps/services: They need to work immediately without a learning curve. See "hallway testing". They need to be competent but only modestly useful, if better alternatives are not available. I h

If Pike, Thompson, Cox et al. had stayed at Bell Labs, they would have created Go there as salaried researchers? Or because no one would have forced them to do C++, they maybe would not have bothered... ;-)

The mentioned paradox is simply not true. How would being fluent in Haskell make you appreciate the need for assembler programming in, say, math opitimizations in Go crypto packages, or any low level stuff?

I don't see much "hard" in https://golang.org/doc/articles/wiki/ or http://www.gorillatoolkit.org/ And you could argue that this is "with no framework". It is more li

People don't know the skill, experience and the wisdom of the designers. Every freaking detail in Go has been thought out over decades deeper than most people ever can...go ;-). And it is a language of Pike, Thompson, Griesemer & a

How is it complicated to sort a list? The only challenge is to provide a corresponding swap function for your list (or for any ordinal "collection" you need), like in this example for arrays, when it is trivial: func (s Organs) S

This reminds me of an old project. Explain all the bits that are communicated and computed across all APIs involved, when a user presses a key, and a set of pixels appear on the screen spelling "a".

The exception was catches somewhere It formed an unexpected, rare execution path that nobody could think of. It was not detectable by reading the local code. A missing error return would have been.

Exceptions are just glorified gotos. The longest single time in my life chasing a bug was because an exception was firing somehere down udner and nobody noticed, because it was kind of part of the logic but a fringe case.
