This is proving that NYT and most MSM aren't trustworthy, and hence my question. If you still trust the NYT for other kinds of news, then it means you have Gell-Mann amnesia. https://www.epsilontheory.com/gell-mann-amn

WikiLeaks published these leaks in two batches. My guess is that one of the batches was from the DNC insider and the other one from Russian hackers.

I don't think it's about funding. WikiLeaks likely has enough money from BTC donations a long time ago. The know-how is in Assange's mind, and he's in prison.

No. Some NFTs are definitely art, like the ones by @beeple on Twitter. There are also NFTs that work as a membership card for a community, like BAYC. And of course there are scams too. You're oversimplifying.

NFT art was likely a bubble, not a Ponzi. Many investments are bubbles, but not Ponzis.

You can self-host your Bitcoin node, the Uniswap front-end, etc. You can be your own bank.

I've seen posts on r/selfhosted about Uniswap out other DeFi protocols being downvoted to oblivion and with comments like "burn crypto too the ground". They want people to have autonomy, except when it comes to money.

This NYT puff piece is a shame. It doesn't mention the fraud committed of using users' funds, servers wiped out, etc. And put this in the context of the NYT writing negative pieces for 10 years on almost every tech founder. EDIT:
