We use Tornadio2 along with Pika (with the IOLoop sharing) for an internal project and it's been great.

No IcedCoffeescript's await and defer integration yet? Will we ever see them in Coffeescript's core?

I'm guessing this is only for implementing an OAuth consumer; is there any good Python solution for implementing an OAuth provider?

So, is AWS starting to carve into Heroku, EngineYard, or PHPFog's territory then? Yes, I understand they offer completely managed dynos so I can sleep well and all that, but easy Git deployment is one of the major reasons why I use Heroku.

What about LESS-style nested selectors? I've been using it in my projects and it improves my workflow tremendously. I'd be thrilled if it's finally integrated into the CSS specification.

Yes, but having no HTTP connection is better than having fewer HTTP connections. If it's already in the cache (and the resource expire header doesn't signal resource expiration), the browser won't open another HTTP connection.

The other point of a (public) CDN is to have more websites using the same kind of resources (JS/CSS files) to load them from the CDN's URLs, which in the end benefits the users by having the browsers reuse the cached version of the resource

Kinda out of topic, but I tried out top websites that use long-polling (like Quora), and it always fails. I guess the app waits for all the resources to load completely, which for long-polling websites, happens rather long after the DOMread
