Limited Partner, the people who out up money in VC funds for the General Partner to invest/manage. iirc though LPs cant have an actual say in investment/strategy or else they risk losing the "Limited" status.

Facebook is the same. Transition to management, make the same pay per level. It's less about moving for money and more about moving to what skillset you prefer to use, which I really like.

Conda works really well for this too, all in one. Aside from that, I've set up a requirements.txt that I just use in every project, copy it to my working directory, build, stay in virtual environment.

An activist shareholder owns part of the company and has additional ability to effect change through voting shares. An activist without any shares cannot attend the shareholder meetings, etc. for example.

Not very pragmatic in the general sense, with the length of ToSs and signatures and check marks on forms. There's a difference between having the ability to read and review forms and informed consent before ticking boxes.

Very, very wrong, and akin to victim blaming. Stealing is a crime, even if I accidentally left my door open or my S3 bucket settings open. Taking something that isn't yours is both morally and legally wrong.
