It's good to be reminded of this process though. I tend to try to take on an epic project that I think is a good idea and then am crushed when it turns out it doesn't work.

I'm not familiar with this complaint. Can you explain it to me? When I click the green button the app fills up the screen, then I can just three-finger-swipe between windows, I love it. Is that what you don't like?

A lot of people are perfectly happy if Javascript and Python disagree with them.

Instagram seems to have decided to implement their own sharing system that ignores everything but the most popular apps and websites.

There are benefits other than cross-platform development to using web views or React Native or something that gets rid of the Android guts.

Exactly. I am disappointed they're removing function currying/partial application syntax though :(

Looks nice, and if I ever have a need for something like this I'll use it over Lambda, because of C#. But, why no F#? Seems like an obvious language to support.

F#, Microsoft's FUNCTIONAL programming language, can not be used to write Azure FUNCTIONS? You can even see them borrowing from F# with the .csx files for writing C# functions. I'm a constantly dumbfounded at the way Microsoft neg

My guess is that it's two things: To get developers to use Windows again and to get developers to use Azure for everything.

Those were mods from SteamWorks? Sorry, I didn't catch that part. I still genuinely wonder why I would want to convert my app into a "modern desktop app".

"...Age of Empires 2 running as a modern desktop app..." I could not care less. If I'm a developer who has a game in Steam, why would I want to do this? To divide my user base?

Yep, I'd rather lug around a laptop with a 500GB SSD than have to deal with an external usb drive, just so I could have a tablet.
