True, there are also a few of my favorite bands on Spotify that Rdio doesn't have. Rdio seem like they haven't gotten a hold of certain indie labels. I've considered switching to a paid Spotify account just because of that. Spotify had a te

I feel like I'm a responsible user and someone just didn't like one lighthearted comment I made. It's pretty upsetting actually. It's a shame but, I guess I'll just not post anymore. Will anyone even see this comment?

I don't mean any offense to MakeGamesWithUs by asking this, you guys seem cool, but this is an honest question: Why are developers, especially game developers it seems, so enamored with iOS? It seems like you'd get a bigger user base and le

I have a programmable coffee maker that is set to make coffee at 5:00AM. At 5:00AM, the world is pretty much shut off. There's not a lot going on on Facebook, Reddit, TIGSource, HN or anywhere else. I can't watch a movie or play a game eith

While that would be horrible, it's still probably a lot less likely than that same family being involved in a fatal car accident.

Typos, "program the web", I'm not sure what all this means. edit: I think what we have here is a library that unifies a bunch of APIs, which is cool, and a programmable service which can run scripts for you. You offload API calls to to this

I was hoping it would be about the touchscreen issue. I think it's something that needs more exposure.

My question is, did Valve say that or is that just some really bad editorializing from the person who wrote the article? I bet it's the latter.

Maybe something like that does exist in the US, but I've never heard of it. Very few businesses deliver; pizza, sandwiches, Chinese food. That's about it.

I agree with this article, but I have one suggestion. Don't do what's trendy, but also don't start to hate everything that is trendy either. I've seen people on both sides. Those who wont touch anything that is conservative or a little bit

That's crazy. One of the weirdest things I've seen was a column named POrN with a datatype of bit(SQL Server's equavalent of bool). We had no clue what it meant. We guessed maybe some lonely developer stuck that in there one evening long ag

I need to start seeing things that way. It's really hard, though, when I'm reading The Daily WTF and I go "that doesn't look so bad. I've written code similar to that". At least I can look at ideas I had 6 months ago and say now that that w
