I'd love to try one. I've had California Chariots and RipSticks and Turtles and a bunch of other things like this. Looks weird, but could be fun. Won't know until I try.

I think Diaspora happened at the wrong time. ello has a relatable "story" that people like and at this point pretty much everyone knows about privacy problems. I'm not saying ello is a better idea than Diaspora, I just think

React is mostly for getting data to and from views. This is purely UI. You can use them together.

If they do, it'll be Minecraft 2 or something.

I disagree. I bet MS will improve mod support. Minecraft mods are a huge pain right now.

I think I agree with you, but still, very low quality comment.

Just spending 5 minutes with PhoneGap was enough to convince me that it isn't ready for professional app development, performance wise. That was 2 years ago and I'd hoped it had improved quite a bit since then.

No, please, if Mount and Blade had the simulated world of Dwarf Fortress, I would never leave my house.

I'm betting they'll add the option to change the defaults at the bottom. Most launchers allow that now, so hopefully they'll follow.

US here, and I'm laughing at the name too. We did have Tom Green's wonderful Bum Bum Song a few years back, after all.

Same experience. I'm in the US and every employer I've worked for has allowed me to take my 2+ weeks off, no questions asked, no calls, no expectation to respond to emails (I don't have work email on my phone).

I don't know about that. And anyway, I've had 2 expensive pieces of software meant for professional production, that just stopped working over the years for various reasons. "Old" versions of Vegas Video don't work

Why isn't screen capture software more widely used? It seems like a dead simple screen capture suite could make all these DRM worries go away.

I just read through the Overtone docs on Github. I've been using Light Table for my IDE. I'm still faster with that than I am with emacs. Edit: If you just want to basics, this should work for you: http://seabre.github.

I'm just starting to get into this, and yes, it is a ton of fun. I started out using Tidal, now I'm moving onto Overtone (a Clojure library for making music) because it's more about synths and scales than Tidal, which is more

That's what I'm trying to tell this senior developer at work. It's a pain.

Yeah, I noticed that too. It would seem that my co-worker who thinks MVC is a fad is at odds with MS themselves.

I'm very curious about your statement that you don't use tabs. Why not? Do you really only ever have one page open at once?
