Does using a registered agent service fulfill the requirements of California law? If so then I fail to see how that's really different from whois privacy. I mean most corporations have the same address: 1209 North Orange Street, Wilmin

How can you remove the host OS in Docker? I thought it was an interface for LXC and the virtual network stack in Linux. I didn't know it was possible to run it in a bare hypervisor like Bhyve.

Why would they do that in a job interview? Why not just not extend an offer? That seems very strange. You should mention what company it was, I would love to go to a few interviews and then walk away with a settlement check for no reason.

Does CrashPlan dedup and compress the data? Also I have to say, tarsnap is so much more lightweight than CrashPlan. If they came out with a nice command line client I would have to reconsider them.

Why do you bother with an OS or a container if you want to abstract the OS away? Just PXE boot all the machines and have the application set to run as init. No need to worry about copying every library for the OS to every machine and you on

I wonder if Google takes reports about Google pages not following their polices seriously. Also I wonder if the same guidelines apply for major software websites, I don't think download.com follows most of these requirements.

Right, that's called trackage rights and are given priority time slots over freight trains. However when the slot is missed then the trains are treated as any other freight.

Why would 10,000 servers cost more than 100 servers? It seems like if you are buying all of your parts in bulk they are going to be cheaper. I'm pretty sure Intel's pricing on CPUs are cheaper by the tray than individually. I know
