My point is each app being able to send its own data to nine services is just as bad as apps trying to record extraneous data from the device. App surveillance, and OS privacy features are an arms race that cannot be won.

Sure, I definitely think there is interest in doing straight up 640x480. Another thing that annoys me about modern pixel art games is when they take a pixel art sprite and rotate it so the pixels are no longer along the original axis.

For apps that want to send their own screens to third parties, there's no permission needed or possible. The app is drawing the content to the screen. It knows what the content is.

I cleaned up the output of asking Gemini 2.5 Pro to rewrite it in python, and it seems to work well: https://gist.github.com/fzzzy/319d6cbbdfff9c340d0e9c362247ae...

OpenAI's Codex CLI uses it on macOS. It's in typescript but maybe I'll take a look at what they do and port it to python. [edit] looks really simple, except I'll have to look into how their raw-exec takes care of writeab

I agree, I'm too picky in domains I am knowledgable about to not go over every character of the output. For areas where I have no clue, I have sometimes found success with just pasting the code without understanding it, but it wasn

Those aren't actual symmetrical coroutines though. Try the raw greenlet python module. A coroutine can yield to an arbitrary coroutine and not just to the event loop.
