The browser will never send the key across the network by itself because it is in the fragment. Of course, you have to get the url with the fragment off your computer and to the intended recipient, so a MITM of this communication could inte

Glad you like it (I worked on it). Just a side note, the cloud service will be going away in the future, but the ability to save it locally will remain.

This seems to be a known bug if you have used the old version of send in your profile that may be fixed now. If you try it in a private browsing window and it works, it's probably that bug.

No. I don't buy this. The correct action would have been to overprovision the battery such that it is capable of advertised performance for the expected lifetime of the product instead of making the product 1 mm thinner.

I have never seen a USB-A connector become loose. It's been over 20 years. The USB-C connector on my 2016 touchbar was loose within months.

Sure, but js doesn’t have rust’s type system. It will probably be straightforward once everything is settled down, but right now Future 0.1 (tokio) and Future 0.3 (async/await) aren’t comptatible and you’ll find examples that use one o

This is because of the removal of the fat runtime and green threads about 5 years ago. Since there was no blessed way to do high concurrency in the language any more, some code started using normal threads, some code (tokio) started using n

I totally agree. Creative mechanics that mix together to create emergent gameplay is the future. Rdr2 has a bit of it with the fire simulation, but in the end it’s the same old engine with the same old scripted events. Rdr2 is still amazing

You get a reward for doing the chores, so they have to slow down how fast you can do them so you don’t buff forever super quickly. The chores are repetitive: chop wood, carry hay, carry water. So they could be perceived as annoying or as pe

Interesting. I knew General Magic had many ex-Apple employees, but thought the Newton had been in development since before General Magic existed. Sculley’s Knowledge Navigator video was from 1987. https://youtu.be/hb4AzF6wEo
