Just be aware of where the air is coming into your apartment from. If it's coming through the walls or attic and being 'filtered' through decades old insulation potentially filled with animal droppings or carcases it's p

Prime does that for me too, recently it has changed from free to one-week-for-£1 now though. The great thing is if you forget to cancel at the end of the trial and they charge you, they will refund you if you haven't placed any orders

I feel like this is just a coincidence. The UK is a collection of islands too and isn't doing very well - the only land border they have is with another part of an island... Ireland. Germany which is doing much better has land borders

Most apartment sized AC units top out at a few kW - that's the peak power, just maintaining the already cooled apartment is going to be consuming much less power. A car cruising at highway speed is lconsuming something on order of 10x

Why can't they just take loans like most Western countries do to balance their budget? The UK has been running at a deficit (£55 billion in the last budget) since 2002. Based on my back of the napkin math, the UK would need to export i

If there were less car dealerships, there would need to be more independent mechanics to cover servicing and repairs - so at the end of the day I don't think much would change in terms of state and city income.
