I understand, which is what I call FUD by the parent commenter. There is no such policy going on.

You can just add all the percentages and divide by that number and you'll get the number you're talking about.

SO has a somewhat "niche" audience- most of the MS stack has a single source of truth about documentation (and it's detailed). People using MS stack are also the people using MS SQL Server. Btw, do you know if the MS SQL serv

And what would the Phase 2 of your pointless FUD be? You do realize that LSP was created by Microsoft, right? And it's pretty much the standard for language and editor integration right now.

I'm betting none of those would be an 'Ad by google' in which case this is very unethical (I'm pro adblocking but google is targeting competitors)

Please don't spread fud. It says replaced or turned off. Their DRM makes Netflix 4k. Chrome already has DRM.

This looks thoughtfully created (and so documented!). I haven't gone through the entire doc and am not particularly clear but can you cross-build too? How would you run MSVC linker on Linux?

In fcc's defense that's how govt counting works formally. Whether or not they are doing anything informally is a different issue.

Is there a guide you'd recommend for filing a patent? I have an idea that I'd like to patent. I genuinely think its very novel and my goal is to use it in my work and license it to others.

I like your explanation of emacs and vim. Btw, neovim natively talks async using msgpack meaning plugins can be written in any language (with glue in vimscript)

You cannot even take out non-ascii strings (or search) if the PDF file had been created in a certain way. That's so 1980. PDF is not exactly guaranteed to be portable- and is a format that needs to be dumped by anyone who cares about a

While your parent clarifies that he meant for backend- ill suggest trying one off bucklescript, Scala.js or elm. They are all very well done and have wide adoption actually

That's why there are compile-to-Js languages that see widespread adoption. Elm, bucklescript, Scala.js to name a few.

Please pardon my comment with limited background knowledge but are you sure that TVs, with their hardware designed to make you look from far are a good idea to keep close to your eyes? Also, where do you get 39" 4K for $300!?

4 of the most popular language creators here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=csL8DLXGNlU agree that type systems are useful. I would suggest definitely not using Vanilla JS. There are excellent type systems over JS, TypeSc

Rust has an effort going on (by a single unaffiliated person) to have a trust chain sort of thing per version. Cargo-cred. I hope others copy this. This is truly scary.

This is the reason why windows doesn't let you opt out- power users would opt out. Case in point - jump lists were removed from start menu. That said- why treat regular users unfairly by not optimizing for their use cases too?
