It sounds like they're just deranking the blog spam posts. In my opinion, Google should derank the whole domain/brand. If you purposely put your name on garbage, we should put your name in the trash.

They clearly had pre-existing beef, but also, you don't just break a 20-year-old important plugin without even telling the author. Especially if the guy who wrote it is on the short-list of core contributors with you. It makes sense th

I've been using it for about four or five years, and never experienced this behavior. Current defaults: "By default, it will perform at least 10 benchmarking runs and measure for at least 3 seconds." If your program takes 1s

Sure, but "for life" could reasonably be expected to cover 50 or 60 years, if you buy your first car as a young adult.

Not being "good for business" doesn't mean customers don't want them.

You can't really call them a "manufacturer" when they haven't manufactured a single car, can you? I think they have exactly one test vehicle that they've made by hand.

> Among this group, those leaving between 6:00 a.m. and 6:29 a.m. reported the longest average travel time to work at 32.8 minutes. So, if "30 minutes" was actually how you measured range (and not in miles), the average worker

"30 minutes" is pretty misleading, because it's not like the batteries are discharging at a constant rate. It might be thirty minutes on the highway, as new PHEV cars have ranges in the 30-40 miles range. But if you're d

Well, the link you cite puts forward 2 hypotheses that could explain localized temperature change in Greenland, and does not mention "maybe this was global temperature change."

At a risk of being pedantic, some amount of money is worth some of the time you could be spending with them. The trick is finding the balance.

In a big Go application, most of the time you're not writing code that runs in the "main" thread. If you're writing a UI, you put the UI code in its own goroutine, and pass messages to it. If you're writing a server

Yes, it's not difficult to get out of. You could also get out by saying that you don't trust the police, or any number of things that might affect your ability to be impartial in the case before you.

Jurors do not self-select into jury duty, though some try harder than others to get out of it. So the effect is less. Voters are partial to the candidates they vote for; that's why they vote for them.

Community notes are not impartial, they are written and approved by the users who sign up to do so (and actually take the time to do this unpaid labor). Thus, they tend to reflect the biases of the kind of people who most want to (and have

I'm pro-choice, but I think that it's not an unreasonable stance if you believe that the fetus is an alive human being with intrinsic worth, or a soul. (Souls aren't real, but >75% of Americans believe in them.)

The argument against abortion is that the fetus is a separate person, and thus is not something you do "to yourself."

To see the issue, replace "R&D Corp" with "Mystical Crystal LLC" or "Mr. Henry's Miraculous Snake Oil Elixir Ltd." Fraudsters and scam artists are happy to rip off people trying to avoid death.

I haven't used submodules much (just one project for a few years), but the only flow that seemed to work is "never commit changes in the submodule." You can change the code locally on-disk for testing, then submit your change

What do you mean by "need less people?" Normally, technology/automation is thought of as reducing the need for labor, but the total amount of labor needed is still proportional to the total number of people.
