Of which, only a small fraction will be relevant in any particular case. It's kind of like pointing at any major codebase and arguing that it's "stupid" to have millions of lines of code.

> So there will be a point when camera based systems without lidars will get better than human drivers. No reason to assume that. A toddler that is increasing in walk speed every month will never be able to outrun a cheetah.

Looks pretty cool. After checking out spec.md, one thing I might suggest is using UUIDs for external codec ids. There's a lot of codecs/formats out there, and limiting to a u8 might lead to collisions. It might also be nice to pro

I don't think phones are really any cheaper than the mini PCs that businesses can already buy. Which makes sense, because a phone has to include a battery, touch screen, and is under tighter space constraints.

Yet more LLM word vomit. If you can't be bothered to describe your new project in your own words, it's not worth posting about.

Aren't LLMs lossy? You could make them lossless by also encoding a diff of the predicted output vs the actual text. Edit to soften a claim I didn't mean to make.

The Dark Knight Rises (the batman movie with Bane) seemed especially notable in this way - almost directly caricaturing the Occupy Wall St protests that were relevant at the time.

From looking at some new car options lately, it seems like you're lucky if you can get floor mats for $200. This doesn't take away from your point - I suppose I'm just griping.

Very cool, I love electric conversions. I will confess though, that removing the belt drive makes me nervous - they're often important to protect either the machine, or people, when the blade meets an obstacle.
