You've heard about successes in HIV vaccine development or in HIV treatment (like anti-retrovirals)?

If you figure that out then let me know. Seems impossible to me. Maybe when brain scanning technology advances they'll be able to know what you're thinking.

I've never filed a use-of-force complaint. Have you? It might be a simple form (that your state-provided attorney may recommend that you fill out).

Kind of in the sense that it exposes a LAN-accessible service to the WAN, it seems to me. Also kind of like ngrok in the same sense.

Even still, what's the incentive to open-source? So the community can bootstrap a better solution than Pixar?

Maybe he did report them and maybe their license wasn't revoked. He's only repeating a joke that the electrician and the certification committee told him. I wouldn't blame the victim, here.

IIRC, Magic was trying to get runit working. But, the idea would be that the init system is modular/swappable. The answers are in the source, though.

It seems that USB-C for _Lenovo_ laptop power ports seems to be incredibly flaky. I have 2 year-old HP Spectre x360 and a new Framework and I've had no problems with charging either of them from a number of different USB-C cables, wall

I always thought that 128+ are for (shell-spawned) processes and 0-127 are for shell. But, apparently POSIX requires this behavior for empty files - we need to amend the standard, first (or fail to comply, muahahaha).

Okay, yeah. That could be useful. Seems POSIX forces the behavior described in the blog post. Time to change the standard!

If it doesn't support any of your users/co-workers then there's no need. But, there's nothing requiring the enforcement of the FHS in the linux kernel, so, generally, you can't take it's conformance for granted

Maybe I shouldn't pick a battle with someone that has that handle . But, in all seriousness, you're right - you're making a trade. The question is which side of the trade is more portable. I use NixOS which doesn't have
