Of course. However, I’m not sure this will achieve the desired speedup, because part of Resharper still needs to run in-process to integrate with Visual Studio. And it integrates a lot. And I’m sure at least some of the APIs it uses are act

Not that I know of. When you target UWP, there’s .NET Native. That might be what you’re thinking of. IIRC .NET Native compilation was very slow and could not target…, well, Windows, but only Windows UWP.

Actually Visual Studio is quite fast again. It's just that Resharper does its very best to slow it down. I don't believe this will ever change. Well except maybe Microsoft will fully deprecate COM-based in-process extensions.

I'm mainly interested in one statement: > it's just pointless boilerplate trash, which C# has been getting rid of excellently Could you elaborate on how you feel C# avoided this? From my point of view the only alternative (to D

I recently bought a Chenbro SR30169 for my backup storage. It’s super compact but also quite noisy. Instead, I’d recommend getting a µATX tower with sound dampening preinstalled. The extra interior space also makes installation and maintena

It’s still not HTML. It’s just syntactic sugar for function calls. You don’t have to use it either way; you can just call `React.createElement` directly if you don’t like JSX.

Yeah, I had trouble with PowerShell’s auto-magic array handling more than once. I see how it can be convenient in the REPL, but it’s just terrible when writing scripts. Your array logic returned just one element in this folder? Why, we’re u

OpenID and OAuth are different things though? Sure, OpenID Connect is built on top of OAuth 2.0, but OAuth 2.0 is a general authorization solution. You couldn’t just interact with arbitrary APIs so there’s really no point in creating a brin

Sure they could. What you allow or deny would be enforced by the identity provider. The relying party simple would not receive the data and could not access it. However, that’s really about OpenID, not about OAuth.

Attestation is just a technical term in the WebAuthn API. Different authenticators can use different attestation data formats. Apple rolled their own, hence the name.

This type of configuration is _much_ more verbose on 2.x, especially if you want automatic HTTP→HTTPS redirects. Also, Traefik 2.x still does not clean up the certificate store automatically.
