The idea that Tesla has little innovative technology is simply wrong. The majority of their R&D has gone into their battery technology, and it has given them a huge leg up on their competitors. The Tesla Model S will go up to 300 miles

The outward effect of a liberal arts education is being a more knowledgeable citizen, better able to think about the world around you. I'd say that goes a bit beyond conversations over cocktails.

While this will provide interesting insight into group dynamics on such a long trip, I don't think it will necessarily tell us how astronauts will feel and act on an actual Mars trip. On Earth, you could theoretically "get off" at any point

While it's hard to know if the distribution of any given city is the result of this trend, St. Louis is certainly a great example - East St. Louis is tied with Opa-Locka, FL as the most dangerous city in the United States.

Personally, I just write. I write pages and pages of stream-of-consciousness thinking about the application, everything from how it will look to how the backend will function to how it will make money. Once I'm done with that, I sleep on it

Until a decentralized platform can give me a stream of what all my friends are up to and the ability to see what any individual friend is up to, it won't be anywhere near adequate.

I do not at all agree that Facebook wants to bring the Web within its borders in the way AOL did. Facebook pages are nothing more than streams of messages and links about a business, and Facebook is actually moving away from canvas-type F

I disagree with that analogy. AOL was trying to put the entirety of the internet within its walled garden: the Web, games, email, everything. Facebook is only trying to dominate one space: communicating with your friends. Admittedly, that i
