Not that we know of, for hardware supply. Microsoft can't supply ARM Windows to Qualcomm's competitors. Windows can't be ported to anyone else's ARM chips because of an exclusivity agreement with Microsoft.

Unions lost popular support among the American public when it became illegal for them to discriminate by race. That environment has been great for pro-business interests to push laws that weaken union power in many states.

Yeah we better get used to disappointment. I think the best hope we have is that Twitter becomes the next Facebook and people we read go somewhere else. It's very dangerous but this is a dangerous time in a dangerous place.

Chips are critical, the highest value new process chips are not as much. AMD and Qualcomm’s PR departments want you to think otherwise.

Exactly Apple made themselves first because otherwise AMD and Qualcomm would have been hogging the capacity but it’s only unfair if Apple does it.

Making motherboards high volume that are faster than your competitors is something small businesses could not afford to do. We’re talking about one process that makes the same chips but more valuable. And AMD and Qualcomm want more access t

Every post is going to attract someone "just asking questions" about whether a normal, serious, hypothetical person would immediately be thinking about right-wing talking points instead of thinking about health and suffering.

It feels like a capital strike. With every business raising prices, a business owner can comfortably profit by raising nominal prices and decreasing the quality of service by not staffing up. They all want to recoup losses from 2020. They k
