I am seriously considering switching to modafinil as a daily stimulant, caffeine either doesn't work for me in lower dosages, or makes me twitchy when it works.

They just removed GCC 4.0. GCC 4.2.1 is avaiable as /usr/bin/gcc-4.2, and /usr/bin/gcc is actually LLVM-GCC 4.2

What about auto-login info in the browser? If you present them with the login form (maybe with username prefilled), and they need to submit the form, they can update their autofill.
