I think that WIRED has done a fantastic job both in terms of their physical copies and digital distribution as well. But even as a techie, the interaction on the iPad just isn't what it should be. I've seen plenty of ads where there's a lin

This was my exact thought process. Burka has great UI skill. I really don't know what value Rose could bring to Google.

Being in a software testing class right now, I'm absolutely shocked how many "minimal/no testing" responses and comments there are.

Manual testing has it's value as well. Automated testing isn't always cost-effective or simple.

I thought 'we' as a tech community had moved passed this. It's been dragged through the mud time and time again.

Question: are users still limited to following 5K people on Google+? Also, to have a person in your "creepers" circle, you necessarily need to 'follow' them on Google+. Is this not a poor design choice?

As a newb, I thought clike was an esoteric language I'd never heard of :) The underlines are a good idea for attribution, perhaps make them straight instead of squiggly, and drop the opacity? I'm not sure. As for the CLI interface, I was ju

My opinion when I got accounts on Convore and Pownce: "This is neat, I guess." I can't quite articulate what I think they did wrong... but these products just felt too startupy to survive.

I've been looking for something similar for a long time. But this has a lot of issues. Problems: 1. You don't have any syntax highlighting for Java, C, C++, etc? These are very popular languages. 2. My browser's (Chrome, OSX) spell-checker

For a while now I've pondered the similarity between Twitter and RSS. Was there any effort at all into making a shorter version of RSS that uses a central naming authority? What are the technical limitations to replicating the usefulness of

I've got some friends on reddit that I communicate with through messages. Although, I certainly prefer to communicate through other mediums.

The difference is that the connections on G+ hold much less meaning than the connections on Facebook. Facebook automatically populates specifically-named friend lists based on your network data and asks that you refine their lists to improv

I have a problem with the way Facebook allows me to share links. Even by using your 'advanced' login security measures, I have been required to fill in CAPTCHAs hundreds of times for legitimate links. For instance, why is a link to an imgur

That's probably a good idea for layman. For us nerds, hopefully we can change the setting so that we can see the changelog before updating. It's always lovely to see the latest reviews saying how broken a new update is.

Facebook is well aware that they can do pretty much anything with their users and they won't leave. That's the strength of social influence. And even if people 'leave' Facebook for another service, many of them will keep their old accounts

I'm really glad that companies, developers, etc. are using reddit as a platform for discussion. The user base has some smart folks in it, and the commenting system is fantastic for holding large intelligible discussions. For instance, in th
