For our house all we need is Blippi, Ms Rachel, and Super Simple Play with Caitie! Maybe add some popular channels that can be shared with a quick link to use your tool. Or a way to chain them together with a simple UrL parameter ChanelID1+

I think the fact that their largest partner and shareholder, Microsoft, wasn’t made aware of this earlier, or even given the chance of having this news drop after trading hours, shows the incompetence.

Right. People keep treating ChatGPT like Google Search, expecting to OUTPUT facts. In reality it’s actually better as a Calculator For Words. In the same way that with a calculator, if you put bullshit in you will get bullshit out. In many

I saw somewhere recently that if the files are small enough they actually just get appended to the prompt. For larger files there is RAG with chunks that are embedded. They will be adding more fine-grained control over the chunking and RAG

I wonder if e-ink technology can scale to large sized roof tiles. I live in the north and I think it's remarkable that we don't use some form of white/black transitions or convertible awnings etc for regulating temperature.

This is the state of the art type of system for greenhouse heat retention, one that I dream of owning. I can't imagine how an underground system would be an eyesore, the ducts going to the roof?

Classic HN response. This is just an early taste of a potentially powerful use case. I understand the vision API doesn’t have memory, so each screenshot it takes is like an entire new context. If the script/application is able to send

Poe has done a great job in this space, quite a large marketplace of existing bots. I'm excited to see what it can do with the extra vision, D•ALLE, and Code Interpreter models.

It feels like this article completely sidesteps the aspects of the trait of “PDA,” which maybe should be a central point. I want to not care about authority, yet PDA and demands make it actually top of mind and debilitating

The classic two-sided marketplace is a chicken-and-egg situation. Common advice is to synthetically boost at least one side of the marketplace to start the flywheel effect.

I think it's possible in a prompt for the LLM to remind itself of it's purpose in its own responses, creating a sort of flywheel effect. If you use a longer context window model (16k, 32k, 100k) this shouldn't be as much of a
