There's dozens of these penny for NASA websites. In my opinion, one vote on the Petitions website[0] is worth more than a 10 dollars donated to an armchair lobbyist. Alternatively, you can actually send money directly to NASA[1]. I'm wait

I would rarely suggest this, but if something is so incredibly broken that you're loosing money at a rate of 800 million dollars per hour, screw the customers. Turn it off at any cost. If you are forthcoming and transparent, customers wil

I don't want another token application. I already have FOUR two-factor-auth apps on my phone, each with multiple tokens: Google RSA Blizzard SWTOR If I can add all the above tokens into your app, I would consider using it. Otherwise... wel

Imagine for a moment, if they fudged the numbers a bit on the storage capacity of every box going into your home. They advertise the usable capacity of 1 or 2TB. In reality, it has 30-200% more storage that is not usable by the customer.

If Red Hat is so upset about Oracle Linux, bad enough to obfuscate code for patches, why don't they just offer RHEL for free with paid support? Seems like a missed opportunity for RH.

Amazon failed to collect/remit ~270M in sales tax in Texas and has owed millions for years. So what did the state of Texas do about it? They struck a deal to erase the 270M owed, as long as Amazon starts collecting sales tax starting 7/1,

ZFS has an interesting caveat -- when you're adding disks to an existing pool, you can't simply add an arbitrary amount of new disks and rebalance the data across the existing disks and the new disk(s). I'm using FreeNAS and 5x2TB raidz1 in
