VS "15" is just the 15th version of visual studio (well 14 since they skipped 13). Internally there are a lot of folders named xx14 for Visual Studio 2015 (which was VS "14" until it got the name Visual Studio 2015) and

Because it's got a zero-knowledge proof means it's got a proof-of-knowledge. Quicksort is O(n^2) so that means it's in NP. It also means it's in P. Same with GNI being in ZKP, and also in PoK. What's missing is the

The ZK property absolutely doesn't matter. Imagine that instead of passwords the client stored a private key, and transmitted the associated public key to the server. Then when logging in the server sent a challenge and the client sign

One could argue that a properly implemented method of voting that involves computers in some capacity would decrease the chance of fraud, and allow voters to verify that their vote was counted. It could also allow more votes to be counted b

It's kind of sad that even in an article about zero-knowledge proofs doesn't understand the difference between a zero-knowledge proof, and a proof of knowledge (without the zero-knowledge part). The ladder are usually much simpler

I would say it's much like f(x) = sqrt(x) over real numbers. sqrt(-16) doesn't exist, but it is still convenient to think about the square root of negative number (for say factoring polynomials). In this case, our function happens

Being stuck with gdb doesn't mean you can't do those things in IDEs though. Visual Studio has a gdb front end so you can run gdb on the target and debug in Visual Studio.

I believe changing data structures gives a "you must restart to make this change" when resuming debugging. It's mainly for code flow type bugs rather than data structure type bugs.

To be pedantic, I don't think the Diffie-Hellman is the weak link as it doesn't specify the group or generator. It just requires that given g^a and g^b it's hard to determine g^ab. And obviously if your generator is poor the

Amazon moved to an agency model for ebooks (where the publisher sets the price, and Amazon gets 30%) a few years back for this exact reason. So I think the answer to that is no. Amazon cannot sell an ebook at a loss because it doesn'

I don't think that's the thesis. I think the thesis is that there could be a "BADA55 construction" even in Curve25519. Even though all of the individual pieces are justifiable, for instance the 2^255-19 is justifiable be
