Maybe a source? I was curious and using federal minimum wages from either 1970($1.45/hr) or 1979($2.90/hr) would yield less than $12/hr. I know you can contest how inflation is calculated, or use shadow stats, but then you&

I would agree that doing stunts is likely to damage a teams reputation, but I think you cast way too large a net to say that software engineers working on open source projects are professional, or even acting as professionals. The OSS ecos

Your edit is good information to know. I didn't realize California's ACA marketplace won't let you enroll if you lose your job and have the option for COBRA until it's exhausted. https://www.coveredca.com

Just skimming over your 2 meal day idea, it involves meal 1, meal 2, meal 3, meal 4. That seems a bit confusing to your don't eat more than 2 meals a day.

Again from a US perspective. A law may conflict with other laws or even the constitution and still be passed. The Judicial branch can rule that the law is not valid though. So if this law were to be passed in the US, RT could file a chal

You list a lot of things that aren't healthy. Can you give an example of a typical 2 meal day that doesn't include oils, fat, meat, dairy, or whatever else isn't healthy? I'm genuinely curious.

My Tesla auto warms up every morning on a schedule. If I didn't set the schedule it's literally a button tap on from my phone. That's a far cry from burdensome.

I don't think anyone is saying what you're suggesting. If you're following a car and they stop, you should be able to stop as well. If a car pulls in front of you and slams on your brakes then that is quite a different scen

It's downright silly to pay new employees more than experienced employees for similar jobs. If you can't afford to raise wages for the experienced staff you'll soon have a bunch of inexperienced staff that costs you more.
