The lender likely sold it off. There is a good chance a Freddie Mac or Fannie Mae owns the mortgage, otherwise it may have been sold to investors. It isn't a wholly free market decision to think your loan would be profitable over 30

Their App Store could be a wild Wild West and the first party stuff would still be great, work well, and integrate with other Apple products. It has nothing to do with the App Store curation.

High interest rates are meant to lower inflation. That wouldn't reduce prices, but it would reduce the rate at which prices increase. It seems to be doing that. Also, the article is talking about the FED, so looking at the mortgages

I choose Apple because I have more success with their first party stuff generally working well. The App Store is filled with junk so if they're "pure and simple" reason for being better is that curation, they're doing a

Just price it in. The reaction to all the point of sale fees are transparent pricing laws which will just make the business have to calculate and track all of these silly fees, add them up and then display the final price to the consumer b

It's a weird argument to block Microsoft and Activision merging in the name of competition and be ok with leaving less competition in it's wake.

Why do they need to get equal share? This doesn't sound much different than game shows to me. People make money off of other people competing against each other to earn less money than the people organizing it. The difference is we

Or they think the UK citizens won't throw the regulators and their bosses out of a job. I doubt many citizens in the UK feel strongly enough about the merger to want access to neither if they merge. People don't particularly lik

> And without stops, you can get from say, Fort Sumner, NM (in the 48th most rural county in the US[0]) to Albequerque, NM in less than an hour. Fort Sumner has less than 1000 people, the whole county is at 1,680. That sounds like about

Some other outlets reported that Microsoft and Activision were talking about completing the deal despite the UK regulator. The EU already gave it approval to happen, and the US hadn't specifically blocked it. https://www.ny

Some people are large. Certainly there is variation. You still have to decide what width to set as reasonable.

It's not just fat. It's large and tall people that struggle as well. Your knees hitting the back of the seat isn't a good way to travel either.

There are a few factor's that decide what to use. Location, price and reputation. When filling up our ICE car, I drive to Costco gas and pass quite a few stations on the way to do it. In a pinch, will I use another brand, sure. Am I

They could do that. It's probably a terrible business model, but they are 100% free to do that. Edit: What they can't do is upcharge the price of gas during the evacuation. That's gouging. As a regular price though, it

As a Tesla owner, I generally have no need for any non-Tesla chargers. Tesla's network has been everywhere I want to go and has been reliable. I have an adapter in case, but the only time I've used it is just to try it out to se

Many countries have slight differences per vehicle. The charging connector seems pretty minor compared to driving on the left side of the road.

It sounds like it makes sense until someone else wants to charge their car regardless of whether yours is charged or not. That will be 99% of the use case for this. Just charge idling fees, that's a great deterrent for sitting there

Pork shoulders were 99 cents a pound for Cinco de Mayo where I'm at in California. Almost every grocery chain here had that sale. I saw one store that made you jump through some hoops selling them for 80 cents a pound.

My wife grew up eating overcooked pork chops, and not liking them, but a pork chop at 145 feels uncooked to her. Academically she says she knows it is safe, but that still won't allow her to eat it.

Parent engagement has a huge impact on how good a school district is. It isn't the funding. Poorly performing schools often get more funding.

We bought our house 9 years ago. Current homebuyers on our street are paying 2 to 3 times what we are in taxes for similar homes. Add in our extremely low interest rate and we have no plans to sell the home even if we buy another.

Nor should they. If they could pay that ridiculous rate then they wouldn’t have a problem not having insurance. You’re presenting it as someone that buys a 300k house and gets a $1500/mo mortgage doesn’t “want” to pay $8500/mo i

I'm glad we cleared up history and it makes perfect sense why Tesla isn't using CCS in America. You don't seem to care that it would benefit all of the bad networks in America while costing the well run one. I'm not sur

It just seems squirrely to double down that inaction doesn't mean inaction. You seem to be pushing your ideas more than you seem to be thinking about what they actually sound like.
