Given the horrible security record of Bitcoin trading platforms, there is no way in hell I will give my bank account details to one. There are so many amateurs in the field that I cannot take any of them seriously.

I would say it's over-the-top, not pathetic. It would be pathetic if Ceglia were charged with murder and he could only be convicted of not licking stamps. The quoted line is just silly. It would be at home in a Mel Brooks movie, except that

If Github is willing to give away hardware or Apple Store cash, then I would hope they can be flexible with another form of payment. They're only dealing with five winners, after all.

I really hope you don't have to pay $1,300 to get a 768GB drive in your system. I ran into a situation a couple years ago when the 320GB drive in my MBP was running out of space. I didn't want to buy a whole new system, so I ordered a 640GB

I'm glad that Express does not aim to be the Rails of Node.js. It's the Node.js equivalent of Sinatra, and for me it has been everything I needed to get my one-page app up and running. It is so important that Node.js is getting support for

This is just plain awesome. Using the project to generate the page's HTML is brilliant, if not an exercise in depravity. However, it seriously needs a better name. Since you've built it as a jQuery plguin and not as its own library, I recom

That sketch was not completely terrible, which is better than a lot of SNL does. But seriously, complaints about the iPhone are not put in perspective when contrasted with the complaints of the people who constructed it. The fact that Foxco

What's killing Flash is 10 years of buggy, awful software. No other multi-platform VM has had so many performance issues, so many security holes, and so many bugs that significantly degraded the user experience. JavaScript interpreters have

Eh, I'm an idiot. I was thinking so much about the pricing scheme I forgot it's a one-time buy, not a service.

I think the pricing scheme is way too clumsy. The Amon and Amon Plus seem to map to two different kinds of web apps: hobby, and mission critical. There's a huge gap between the two plans. You're basically ignoring the users between the two

I think HP has major problems, many of which stem from the board of directors. The fact that the BoD selected Léo Apotheker is one of the biggest indicators of this. Hiring Meg Whitman will not fix HP if the BoD stays.

Really? That's a pretty knee-jerk reaction. A lot of companies will ask multiple technical questions. If a candidate has sweet talked his way into the building for an interview without possessing real skills, then a fizzbuzz test will weed

While data mining on this scale is only barely science fiction, I don't see it progressing it this far for a number of reasons: 1. Users. Once Facebook users learn that their public data will be used for these purposes, people will en masse

Unfortunately, adding more developers has the potential to make the situation worse, not better--especially if six positions are being added simultaneously.

That makes it even worse then. Every Pandora user connected via WiFi is at risk. I wonder if Pandora is usable in airports?

Personally, I would prefer a hybrid approach--projects cannot show only simulations/rendering. If a project presents these things, it must also present the current state of the ideas being rendered. You're developing a spacefaring action

I think when you refer to "medium" you mean style. Here photography is the medium to deliver a message. I think we can agree that not every message is best presented in the same style. Would you present a photo of a party in the same way yo
