Amusingly, when the hackers were previously identified as the Chinese government they changed their signatures. So revealing the signatures in public is not a good idea. "While past Mandiant blog posts related to UNC3886 have shared at

You’d need to show people aren’t getting what they need rather than saying they are sad because they are spending their money on it.

Yes. You can maybe lead larger projects, and bigger teams, but ultimately its not a path to C suite. Path to C suite in tech is mostly founding, occasionally odd things like board membership, venture capital.

Yeah I agree. The only good system is one where I judge the validity of the work. Especially if its something I don't know about because then I have no baises.

lol, you aren't getting a promotion to C level by hanging out in engineering. Best case you'll be some IC that is paid as much as a team lead.

Why not the 100 hours of operation? For at least two weeks prior it was know that long continuous operation would render the system unusable. It seems the floating point issue was a known limitation was a reasonable work around.

Clearly it was more important that a bug in a user mode GUI app didn't render the system unusable compared to having 16 bit code and a few locks in a mostly serial environment. The story of OS/2 is a project that dragged on for de
