In 1990s-born scripting languages, it makes sense that there are plenty design choices that don't mesh well with static-analysis-driven autocompletion, because that was not at all part of the requirements for these languages at the ti

We've got to assume that Google have internally been developing "real" Chrome for iOS for a long time, so that it'll be ready to go immediately, right?

Not sure what to troubleshoot with AdGuard, but from consulting mine that's working well, I'd ensure that both "Safari protection" and "Advanced protection" are enabled in its app, and that all of its Safari ex

As I understand it, AdGuard uses (in addition to a browser extension) a system-level local network proxy so can do anything to requests and responses? Confusingly, there are 3 offerings: "AdGuard for Mac", "AdGuard for iOS&qu

For YouTube videos I feel are worth archiving, I just add them to playlists on my channel, then periodically download my entire channel using a single yt-dlp command (it can keep track of what's already been downloaded).

Seems pretty nice. I was getting worried when it was talking about requiring a third-party library (remote_pdb), but at least it sounds like you can now attach pdb to any running process on the same box using OOTB tooling only.
