I've been a software engineer for the better part of a decade now. My areas of focus during that time have been NLP, messaging, teaching, politics, and now data analysis and processing around criminal justice.

The answer is you don't measure the particle directly, but instead measure its byproducts. I spent my graduate career studying the Upsilon meson, which is a particle dominated by two valence bottom quarks. The Upsilon exists for a simi

Quick feedback: the text of the main button on the page to sign up is too long on mobile. It wraps the button itself around (not just the text inside the button) and partially renders over itself on mobile, making it hard to read.

Two things to note: 1) This is due to power consumption while idle, not overall power consumption. Nor is it a new regulation. [1] 2) This isn't just California. These same regulations apply in Colorado, Hawaii, Washington, Oregon, and

I'm not even sure it's that. The stated metric is how much prices have risen since May 2020. So it is the year-over-year change, but the baseline is a very weird covid-May.

These things are anything but distraction-free. There was a MASSIVE ecosystem around TI games in my high school. I definitely spent multiple classes playing Tetris on my calculator. Or running a drug empire.
