Cramping's one of my symptoms; I'm being a bit coy. To be more blunt (the disease is Ulcerative Colitis), the main thing is bowel movements per day. At the moment, I've got an NFC tag sitting in the bathroom that I swipe to log a motion (

As someone both with a chronic disease, and who works in Health IT -- personal health tracking is something I'd very much like to see (and am working on in my spare time). Part of the problem with chronic illness is that our (well, my!) dum

Given how massively prolific the humble bundles and indie games in general are, I disagree. There's a very long tail on PC :).

I've played around in both and enjoy them. Tellingly, I've noticed a lot of the original community (at least, in my area) has come back and is sticking with NS2 strongly; the couple of hardcore-ish NS friends I have really like NS2 too. I

He's not attacking anything; the two of you are in (violent) agreement :). He's saying that C# provides all those little bits its "inherited", so it's an acceptably-good language for pretty much anyone, no matter your background.

It really depends on the degree to which you do it. I'd argue that just having one or two very basic acceptance tests is probably all you want when you're testing the waters with an MVP. The most all-encompassing test you can make; and ma

Cheap, tacky. Makes me seriously concerned for Microsoft's health if they feel they need to resort to this kind of childishness.

So what if the shoe's on the other foot? A driver hits someone. The driver doesn't have insurance. He's now liable for the other person's medical bills, but can't afford them. He's now massively in debt over some random accident. No mat

That seems wrong. If a phone is held vertically, the 768 pixels is the width, not the height -- so the buttons take a chunk out of the 1280, not the 768.

There are always reasons why unauthorized access may be needed (or, to phrase it better: where authorization should be dynamically extended), however. For instance, if a patient arrives in the ED, then a doctor who has never treated them b

I strongly agree, and wish I could upvote you more. Before I enter CC details on any site, I check: is it HTTPS? Is the domain correct? The average user might not, sure, but it's there for those of us who do. This abstracts that away. C

Surely that's a bad thing ? It would be trivial to make an identical Javascript popup which harvested data rather than sending it off to Stripe. Yes, the current redirect-ad-infinitum workflow is reasonably trash, but this scares me a l
