ElemntX does not support all features that Element does, so if I'm using a space to group rooms, then I can't use it.

I like the idea of matrix and element, but the execution is just so lackluster. Even Signal added a lot of quality of life improvements, and WhatsApp is consistently getting better. I don't like the idea of using a messenger owned by M

I know of nobody who even knows of Matrix, if I haven't told them beforehand. Discord is so much better than all alternatives, that I just don't see why anyone would leave it.

As a European, I'm definitely avoiding the US. I was asked whether I wanted to visit our US branch and I declined - which was simply accepted and probably expected in advance. Almost everyone I know does the same.

If your compiler does not let you compile garbage code, then it's restricting you, but that's exactly what you want - you don't want to compile something that is incorrect. Rust just enforces more rules than, say, Ruby or C&#

I preordered it and read it with the expectation of getting great sci-fi about kraken and got something else entirely. The focus is on many things, but not on sci-fi and kraken, so it is one of the weaker books in this area, sadly. I finish
