If you look at dedicated writing AI tools like NovelAI, you can see that this is exactly how they work. They have a concept of a "lore book" with "keywords" that you can use to remind the AI about how to properly generat

This is a real problem that I believe will become increasingly commonly used by attackers to break into companies. Unfortunately, it's not an easy problem to automate the detection. There are some heuristics, but you're basically

The apt repo thing is actually why I switched to Arch a while back. In Arch you have most packages being up-to-date by default (because you're on a "rolling release"). There is also the "Arch User Repository" which

I found the "clumps of density" fascinating because it seems like the NIMBY culture in SF/Seattle prevents that from happening. You simply cannot build more than 3-4 stories anywhere except downtown. There are some small ex

Yeah, it was downtown. But compared to SF or Seattles "downtown", it was absolutely bustling even at 2am in December. That's what blew my mind. (It's a ghost town in most cities because it's all commercial -- no mix

I recently visited Vancouver, BC (Canada) and I was blown away by their urban development planning. They have tons of density, but the city doesn't look dystopian because they've mixed different styles of building well. What thi

We run BTRFS on our work laptops and have been for a few years now. Keep in mind that we're only 4 devs, so our sample size is small, but we haven't had any issues with it so far and it's been very pleasant to use so far! We
