The fact that ibogaine, a drug with little if any neurotoxicity, is a Schedule 1 drug in the U.S. while millions of opioid pills get handed out every year to hopelessly addicted poor people makes me very, VERY upset. Does your government ca

Just a shout out to safety... Be very careful when riding e-boards, people. Helmets are not recommended, they are absolutely required. Also, you probably shouldn't buy an e-board if you don't have the fundamentals down on a longbo

I think this sums up the most poignant complaint against the javascript/node trend. It's not that we don't need SPA's. SPA's are awesome. But sites like Reddit and Hacker News prove that they don't need to be i

Realistically, how difficult is it to write a brand new operating system like this? Could a few people with full-time jobs write a working model in a year? Maybe 10 people? Is it just too time consuming with too little of a payout? There sh

Maybe I'm just buying into the marketing hype, but this actually seems pretty cool and I'm curious what the OS feels like.

I totally agree. The most "in the moment" person I've ever known ran a non-profit coffee shop and drank coffee every weekday. I drink one cup of coffee three or four times a week and I feel like it boosts my awareness rather

This was so beautiful! So glad to see it on Hacker News. I find myself in the resentment camp too often, and I'm reminded that little can be accomplished by pushing others down. We're all stronger when we form a web of support. Gr

That's probably because most people see drug markets as a completely replaceable service. Silk Road down? Use AlphaBay. AlphaBay down? Use something else. It's so profitable to run these markets that the odds of someone developing

Please please PLEASE do not buy into these ICO's. Nothing but vapor, I promise you. Crypto is going to crash SO hard if people keep giving these ICO scammers millions of dollars for each slick marketing campaign they can spin up.
