Not sure about California as a whole state, but NYC is liberal aside from Staten Island. And the rest of the state is red, aside from few cities. https://www.nytimes.com/elections/results/new-york

Ryzen doesn't support RDIMMs, only EPYC do. AFAIK ECC support is broken on Ryzen even with UDIMMs.

I personally tested a number of low end haswell pentiums and i3s and they support ECC. I have a 4310T paired with a C222 server board for my ZFS NAS.

Kyiv, Kyyiv or whatever is freaking impossible to pronounce for an English speaker. Should have gone with Kiiv, much easier to pronounce and somewhat closer to Ukrainian pronunciation.

Its actually believable, since it was occupied it's fair to assume that pro-Ukrainians would be afraid to vote.

Both. Russian forces occupied it, but Crimea's population is over 60% Russian. While the exact referendum poll numbers could have been fabricated (95% for), most of the polls after the referendum showed 80+% support.

NYC has buses covering pretty much the same routes as subway, it just takes much longer. Personally I use express buses for commute and these are amazing, though twice as expensive.

More competition is good, though I dont have many hopes now. I switched to Intel starting with "Cores". I don't see myself upgrading my 4690k anytime soon, but I hope but the time I need, AMD would have some nice offerings.
