WordPress was where I got my start, a while ago now. From poking around with PHP files, to building my own things, to Django, and on. It would have been inconceivable back then (mid noughties) that the whole thing could be done client side.

This articulates a feeling that I've had for a long time. I struggle to buy gifts, which probably does me no favours socially, for this reason. I can't help but feel the burden I'm giving to someone else. Christmas is hell.

I'm reasonably sure they're not identically accurate any more, but good enough for the kitchen. The kg was initially defined by the mass of the water, but as the kg has been redefined it's drifted a tiny bit.

These games exist to lower the cost of cleaning. By motivating you to piss accurately, you spill less, meaning cleaning is quicker and can be done less frequently.
