The TOC is covering very basic topics such as what is CL, how to setup in your machine and there is also a link to a telegram group for discussion.

Good report! On #4, have you considered a client-db-server approach? Where your server just listen to changes in do and act accordingly. Is there something in your specific case that prevents this approach?

We have been using it in an Ember app and it was very easy to setup. There is an Ember Data adapter that works well. Main advantage is to have an app that works offline and all sync happening under the hood. If you are going to give a try,

Twitter has existed for 10 years, as you say. How many 10 year old companies have 300mm users and revenue at $2.2 billion and growing at this pace?

The idea seems to be fighting a specific kind of corruption. Congressmen have an office budget and many use invalid or suspicious receipts to justify expenses. The idea is to use bots to analyze and red flag suspicious receipts and then use

iPod was a initially a failure. Only when they created iTunes it became successful. It is strange to think that a piece of software lots of people hate so much was so decisive in turning around Apple.

Software is not patentable in Brazil either. Honest question: have anyone seen any software innovation been really protected by a patent litigation? All articles I have seen are about trolls.

> If your position is unpopular with your friends, then it's because you think the law is more important than the entire society it's supposed to protect. Totally agree. This is unfortunately a very authoritarian world of view

There is no legal basis to support the judge decision. A telecommunication service must keep records, but by the very difficult to understand Brazilian regulation, WhatsApp can not be considered a telecom service. A service like WhatsApp i

This is a real concern. But another one is if the media outlets are being biased on their choice of which data they choose to disclose. They haven't done a good job in showing they are being correct up to this moment, but let's g

My opinion is probably even more unpopular. I don't believe software should be patentable at all. Algorithm implementation is already covered by copyright and that is enough. The American patent is working backwards. Instead of fosteri

Loan funding is still funding. In the startup world people think funding== equity funding, but that is not true. Equity funding is normally the most expensive kind of funding. Glad to see they can grow with loans instead.
