There may be another angle to this: Netflix does not publish viewership ratings of its shows, but there have been a few attempts by various companies to infer the ratings by traffic analysis. Encrypting the traffic makes it harder to do so.

They are on non-US apple keyboards, the US keyboards use the text "alt" and "option" and so on. I've always wondered why they don't put the symbols on the US keyboards yet use them in the UI anyway.

My child has diabetes and pricks her finger multiple times a day to check her blood glucose. According to her, it hardly hurts. Then again, she only needs a tiny tiny drop of blood and the lancet used to do the finger prick is very thin.
