Surprised to see Objective C dropping; I wonder why that is? It sure doesn't feel like iOS is getting more web view apps, and with the increased frequency and quality of apps on the App Store in lieu of iOS porting, you'd think it

They also have a lettuce wrap option (burger sans bun).

I suspect you're right, and generally what I figured. But then when I see street meat vendors with fresh onions and pickles every day, I question if that's really the reason.

You know, between McDonalds, BK, et al and the street meat vendors around, I don't understand why all fast food vendors in the US and Canada haven't opted for Korean-style lettuce wraps. Firm, crunchy, fresh lettuce makes for such

This PC version was actually released over a decade ago; it's pretty ghetto and old. That said, it Wine-wraps decently. The same treatment was given to FFVIII, as well, so it likely won't be long before it joins its predecessor on

FYI: The Steam version of the game still has a phone-home, always-online DRM which requires you to maintain connectivity in order to play. This is not the standard Steam DRM.

This is such a great concept; really glad to see how Humble has expanded to support all kinds of media. I only wish, as I do for the Android bundles, that Apple would step up its game and allow this kind of thing to be easily supported. iBo

I'm curious; given that HN represents a community that could very well be construed as the "power user" archetype, how much would people here have paid for Reader as a service? $5/month? $100/year? Free with a Googl

I've always been partial to "Lua". It's as fun say as it is to work with.

I couldn't disagree more. While Apple may be foolish to release a full TV with the screen, opening up apps (read: games) with the new third-party controller support in iOS7 only stands to grab them easy market share and grow the living

I'm all for Oauth integration in principal, albeit the "standard" has its (reasonable and well-criticized) issues, but I think there's more of a case to be made here for what's important to highlight to avoid user e

Having just recently learned Python the "hard" way, I really wish I would've seen this beforehand. Even having done some hands-on work and a lot of Googling, I picked up a few new things from this I hadn't seen before. T

I don't think anything proves this point more than the "This is a webpage" post that hit 1 on HN a few days ago.

I'm curious. With all the railing around Flash and its obsolescence, is Silverlight destined to go the same route? I don't hear much about it anymore, particularly in the enterprise and the video provider space in which I currentl

As a long time technical writer, allow me to convey my sheer joy at how awesome this is. Issues with the submission and its descriptiveness in terms of HN standards aside, this is super wicked awesome and makes me warm and fuzzy inside.

I don't buy the hype around crowdfunding and its supposed boom. I think, particularly in the video game space which has seen some of the biggest backings across all industries/verticals, very few successful "crowdfunded"

Although I'm less passionate about it, I tend to agree with ChrisNorstrom's comments that the change doesn't seem change enough to warrant neither this level of attention nor such a "detailed" analysis of the change

This seems like a convoluted way of addressing the issue, and I'm not really sure to whom this article is addressed. Is it to people already in product / service development? If so, it's far too verbose an example. If it'
