Stack Overflow is dead because of AI. Devs can get quicker answers with less hassle with AI. Without AI there is no other option for amateur devs to get answers, so Stack Overflow would otherwise still be used. This isn't difficult

I think Stack Overflow went dead because of AI specifically. The issues you mention just made that transition easier for people. Before AI, people had no choice but to suffer the toxic mods at Stack Overflow. Reddit isn't comparable,

Learning about the FT in engineering and how it can represent pretty much any repeating signal was mind blowing. It was the culmination of so much learning in mathematics that brought me to that wow moment.

It isn't always pragmatic to account for the 5% of people who misinterpret what is being said or who aren't able to contextualize because they are stupid. We've all misinterpreted obvious things before. It isn't that b

400km in 9 months seems pretty quick for a lobster as they mention they don't typically travel in straight lines. I wonder if they are helped by any currents at the bottom of the sea.

It's really disheartening when people completely miss the underlying issue, whether in good faith or bad. This is another cut to you democracy to its death by a thousand cuts. This should be obvious to everyone by now.

The argument "why do you care about your privacy if you have nothing to hide" needs to be addressed. The problem with this argument is you don't decide what you need to hide or not, the authorities do, and we all know author

You can't reward failure in competition. You will get people purposely going slower to get the middle lanes. What they could swim in a pool in which they aren't using the outer lanes, so bigger pools, or less swimmers.
