> The problem with using the fact as the smallest data unit is that it invites fact checking, which slows down the news reporting. Could you elaborate on this? Specifically, what do you think is the better alternative?

Agreed, this would be awesome for extreme sports. I'm wondering if it would track fast enough to follow a quadcopter around an FPV racing course.

Where did I argue against restrictions? I would wholeheartedly welcome restrictions, as long as they are not draconian. But just so you know, there are already restrictions (in most countries) about where and how you can fly a quadcopter. P

As someone who has been working with "drones" for the past few years, I am sick to death of these people who do idiotic things like fly over a crowd of people. It's frustrating that when something like this happens, people te

I don't mean to shit on your idea, and I do find it interesting. :-) I'm curious how a household might benefit from having its own server farm. I guess decentralization could be one benefit. Can you think of others?

Sorry, I don't get it. Why use mobile phones when you can just use servers that don't have redundant features such as screens, cameras and sensors? Are you suggesting that the economy of scale has reached a point where the smartph

You mean you fly up to 16 pilots in a race? What's your set-up? The most I've seen so far is 6.

RUM is definitely a big value prop. I like keeping an eye on how quickly our site loads in different countries and on various devices. For analytics we use Clicky and it's decent. There's a 3rd party Chrome extension which is usef

We use Pingdom and it's awesome. The dashboard is really nice and the service is very reliable. My sole complaint is that their starter plan only includes Real User Monitoring for one website. Have to jump up to the $46 / month pl

What are some good resources for learning about WebRTC? I'd like to figure out how we could use it to stream video from a quadcopter to our website and/or a mobile app.

Not to my knowledge. Flight controllers will undoubtedly get to the point where a completely autonomous quadcopter can beat any human pilot, even through an unfamiliar course. At that point we'll need to impose regulations on the level

Here's my dilemma: My startup ( https://fpvracing.tv ) users are literally 98% male so it would seem obvious to target this demographic with images of sexy female models, but I'm concerned about the ethics of doing so.
