It seems it scans your extensions not your system - reading the details. The intro made it a bit unclear.

Wonder if you can just avoid hiding it to make it more believable Why not have a library of babel esq labrinth visible to normal users on your website, Like anti surveillance clothing or something they have to sift through

Stop propagating the term sideloading like its some kinda dirty thing. Its just installing an app.

You know if your internet drops out you could just use your phone or idk not have internet for a bit. You dont NEED a starlink like you need food or being able to commute etc. Tesla, starlink are more a luxury for an average hn user.

So if we pretend a list is a function from an index to an entry for the moment ``` Enum.take(list , 2) ``` Is more like ``` Enum.take(list, [1,2]) ``` So if you apply that to a list of length 1 or zero, you just get either list[1], or []

But thats the point, an llm is a vastly different object to a calculator. Its a new type of tool for better or worse based on probabilities, distributions. If you can internalise that fact and look at it like having a probable answer rather

It's googles fault that cards can't work in graphene. Google needs to whitelist graphene basically to work in the wallet app. On that note, given that graphene is focused around security and privacy, perhaps not givng your payment

Everyone deserves private and secure defaults without having to manually install another os. I have plenty of non technical friends that care about security but don't come from technical backgrounds, but generally understand the proble

Notation is invented to be useful. A lot of mathematicians and physicists write stuff like f = g + O(h) and then proceed to do a bunch of manipulations without getting bogged down in set theory syntax. Also equality isnt just defined on set

I feel its not that bad an abuse of notation as kinda consistent with other areas of mathematics - A coset, quotients r + I, affine subspaces v + W, etc. Not literal sets but comparing some representative with a class label, and the `=, +`

What do you really mean exists - maybe you mean has something to do with a calculation in physics, or like we can possibly map it into some physical experience? Doesn't that formal string of symbols exist? Seems like allowing formal st

The current state must satisfy all constraints? Eg some table Users -> you start with `add user_id` , `add org_id`, `remove org_id` for example, so then the current state is `Users{ user_id }`. But you trust the compiler to derive that,

I use a lot of elixir and rust. `mix compile` does not necessarily reason across migrations for the app with what limited type checking it does in 1.19. You define an ecto schema and write your own migrations, but like the state of the app

Are there any other libaries / research / etc that sorta take a more functional approach to solving these sort of problems? For db stuff - what if we flipped the way we write schemas around. A schema is its something that you deri

Isn't ceding all power to AIs run by tech companies kinda the opposite - if we have to have AI everywhere? Now no one knows how anything works (instead of everyone knowing a tiny bit and all working together), and also everyone is just

How is graphene considered the most secure phone os but you can still flash on new firmware? I don't care if they can downgrade the device, just that I boot into a secure verified environment, and my data is protected. I also think thi

Im really not motivated by this argument; it seems a false equivalence. Its not merely a spell checker or removing some tedium. As a professional mathematician I used wikipedia all the time to lookup quick facts before verifying it myself o

The analog of a dot product of vectors is an integral over the product of functions. The matrix multiplication of vectors - or a row and a column vector - which is then just taking the dot product is called an inner product. So for function
