Thanks. Is there some distance from the caldera where crust disturbance would definitely not be a factor? 1 mile? 100 miles? Greater?

Has anyone heard of a study of how fracking and horizontal oil drilling in the states surrounding Colorado are affecting the caldera? I would imagine all of the seismic activity they cause would have an impact.

The problem in my mind, at least in the US, is that we give licenses to 16 year-olds without proper training and turn them loose on the roads. This combined with the American machismo culture of driving like an entitled asshole make for sit

Statements like this make me cringe: > I’ve cost them time and money going down the hill. It’s a macho thing. Drive the hills as fast as you can and be damn sure to humiliate any sonofabitch who’s got brains enough to respect the mountai

The listings project is not mine, but I've always admired Stefanie and her list: https://www.listingsproject.com/ It lists artist studios, coworking and apartment sublets, mostly in NYC and probably does about $500k in

Have a look at a map. Geographic boundaries surrounding an 8 million person population is why NYC real estate is so expensive.

For sure, they are very small places. But they are old, dense cities and are very walkable / bikeable. You can even ride between the 2 on a nice path that runs next to the Hudson (they are about 6 miles apart).

Yes, RPI is in Troy. It would be one of the points on my list of assets. They have this amazing music venue called EMPAC...

For people looking for that 70s NYC like experience, with proximity to NYC, I HIGHLY suggest checking out the Albany / Troy area. Both are gritty little cities with a bunch of interesting people living there doing interesting shit, all

I can't compare, but I can comment on Sendy. I use it to send about to a list of about 5k. It has never sent to completion on its own, it always requires me to monitor the queue so I can hit the 'retry' button once it times
