Please show what the actual accusations of espionage are in that article - because I don't see any.

They do not. The width and height attributes we have been discussing set the size that the image will be displayed at , which are not necessarily the size of the image transferred. Those are two very different things. My statement holds -

Removing the dimensions from the image tags is absolutely the wrong thing to do. If you do this, then a browser/user/client that wants that information simply doesn't have it - you can't create bits from thin air. If you

As many, many other people have stated here - beyond just burning social capital by forcing your other friends and family to use Signal (which isn't even federated), a lot of social, community, and commercial things are coordinated

The batch-processing tools I wrote (e.g. a simulator) had CLI shims that called the same interesting functions that you would at the REPL. The interactive tools I wrote all had functions that acted as a zero-effort entry point anyway, so th

False. The NSA has never been shown to (or even suspected of) commit intellectual property theft, which is what several of the above incidents are.

Why would Apple invest in third-party toolchains? Aren't they incentivized to only support Xcode, Swift, and other tools that are as tightly bound to their ecosystem as possible?

How is your comment at all related to the linked project? It literally just attempts to determine how brightly-lit the physical area is and uses that to plan a walking route.

"Dipshits" is an incredibly rude way to describe people who are most likely just ignorant.

This is very vague. What exactly do you mean by "computer illiterate" - do you mean someone who isn't a power user, or someone who can't program?

Please actually read my comment before responding to it - I relaxed my statement to not claim that "ergonomic" was a Boolean value, so I'm not sure why you're still acting as though I am holding that position. > even

Replace "purely" with "mostly", if you want to be pedantic. Even if ortholinear keyboards don't completely eliminate lateral motion, there's still a rather large reduction in it - which is what matters.

No concavity? Staggered rows? No thumb clusters? Calling this "ultimate" and "ergonomic" is a joke.

Yes, and that's why they're not ergonomic.

Purely medial movement of the fingers (which is more ergonomic) as opposed to the lateral motions that fingers have to make for a staggered-row keyboard.

Again, I've never seen this distinction made before. Please show me a body of literature that claims that dynamically typed languages do not have a type system - your claims on their own do not convince me.
