You can code PRs fast, but CI, review, merge, deployment, monitoring, all takes just as long as it did before. The inner loop is shrinking; the outer loop is the real bottleneck

Been waiting for a while for better monitoring on MCPs. We make heavy use of hotshots - down for anything to get observability into Datadog cleanly.

++ Kind of my whole thesis with Graphite. As more code gets AI-generated, the weight shifts to review, testing, and integration. Even as someone helping build AI code reviewers, we'll _need_ humans stamping forever - for many reasons,

Fascinating - are you imagining a sort of adversarial AI situation, where one LLM bot writes the PRs, and a different one reviews them, leading to an organically improving codebase? Kind of a cool idea.

I really like the general take that LLMs scanning PRs is simply "zero config CI." We already have a great paradigm for this; we don't need to reinvent a new category. In that light, we can weigh its value more as a fuzzy lint

I used the first version of Phind for some time and loved it. As Perplexity and ChatGPT got better, I started shifting more of my traffic back to them. Excited to see y’all still in the race and giving competators a run for their money. I a

"Proofreading for typos and logic mistakes: I write a fair amount of English documents: ADRs, technical summaries, internal posts, and so on. I never allow the LLM to write these for me. Part of that is that I think I can write more cl

Feels like you're being pretty negative to some kind folks showing off a cool thing they built. HN is a place for people to show and tell with positive intention and constructive feedback. I don't think OP is scoffing at all :)
