That precisely one of my problem with enum: almost all TS type is structural typing, why have this exception enums being nominal typing?

This is my preferred home made way of doing "Enum" in TS theses days https://gist.github.com/forty/ac392b0413c711eb2d8c628b3e7698... - it includes syntax to migrate from TS enum. The member documentation poin

Wrong, what it's missing from passkey is phishing resistance. And you can use passkeys with at least a few independent commercial password managers if you are not happy giving your passkeys to Google & Apple (I work for one such pa

Collaboration brought us peace. Peace is underrated these days. (NB: I mean the good kind of collaboration of course, on science and industry - it's a loaded word in French at least)

I think in practice in their randomized tests, almost all samples were above the recommended threshold, so you can save the test money and assume it's not going to be good.

In practice for complex env it ends up creating a lot of if(env) and the code ends up being horrible. At least it was our experience and we ended up having common modules instantiated in different environment as needed, which was much nicer

They could block access to X from Germany (via DNS and removing apps from stores). Not hard to bypass, but certainly enough to make most people move on to another platform.

The issue is precisely that many people underestimate the cost of pulling someone else's code as a dependency. Pulling a dependency with 1M LoC is probably more costly than writing 1000 LoC yourself.

There are systems which recognize private ownership which are not capitalists. Capitalism is just about the full control of means of production and of companies by capital owners as explained by your parent.
