I was lucky enough to attend the NZTech Education Summit on the 26th and 27th of June. And can speak to even cooler changes happening in NZ classrooms. In Campbell's Bay school they are running their classrooms similar to how scrum tea

I get bogged down super easy, so only pick up really small personal projects. I have been working on tutorials for the newly released Construct 3 beta. The kids I teach at codeclub have been begging for Construct 2 tutorials, but now that a

I love this, you know you are truly passionate about something when you quite happily spend every waking minute of the day doing it.

+1 for Scratch Jr. I am also a fan of hour of code ( https://code.org/learn ), it uses popular games and Disney characters and typically no project takes more than an hour.

Free stuff! Great! But I imagine one barrier to this gaining traction is trust. Cryptocurrencies are open source and peer to peer, everyone can see everything that goes on. Do you have any plans on open sourcing the current implementation o

I have been volunteering at my local codeclub for about a year now. Loads of fun and they have a full online curriculum[0] full of resources that cover everything mentioned in the parent. They also recently partnered with the raspberry pi f

I recently moved from github pages to http://netlify.com . And wow everything was just so easy, 5 minutes I had migrated my static site, custom domain and set up SSL. Their documentation and customer support was fantastic.

I would second Github pages, you can set up a custom domain. The only issue is trying to set up ssl nicely, but you might not even need that. Use a simple template like the one that http://launchaco.com/build/ provides

Appreciate it. Now that it is in my github history though, it is probably more effort than its worth. But I may as well remove it from the live site. If you are ever in the neighbourhood come on over for a beer. Thanks
