TLDR - He hears us, but he's doing nothing. This motivates me to go to the tech meetup on Wednesday. www.meetup.com/ny-tech/events/47879702/

That's great to hear, Jonathan. I personally know two of the people on that team and they're brilliant programmers but never saw their view from the outside. I'm glad to hear you're getting amazing support from them. If you're enjoying it

What motivated you to use the Etsy API? I'm good friends with a number of people there and worked a bit on their search too.

You should read through a resume if you're going to interview them. Signed, A person that has viewed 1000s of resumes a week from time to time.

Anyone who refers to themselves as a "rockstar" should never be hired. Real rock stars get laid by any women they see. It'll be an HR nightmare if what they say is true.

I've also found that having a laptop with you with your preferred IDE ready to go is a great idea. I suck at hand writing but type like a champ, and feel that "whiteboard" coding is more of an exercise for those who were TAs in college tha

China is far from first world. They have modern cities, but their GDP is less than $5000/year pp. They employ slave child labor to make your cheap plastic shit. They work 14 hour days. It sucks.

The IRS has unionized workers. 5 weeks vaca, 3 weeks sick pay, overtime.. It's a sweet gig and deserves to be - they control the biggest money collection in the world.
