compositing has nothing to do with 3d acceleration. NeXT slabs and cubes did have a low-function blitter used to composite the main display.

Nextstep used compositing in the late 1980s.

Nationalism is by far the most successful leftist project. It’s kind of amazing that the left has forgotten that fact.

Hans Moravec has an incrementalist approach to this which I think actually does accomplish eliminating the copy issue.

If it was just patent avoidance why aren’t there any non-apple laptops either their sound quality? Both the microphones and the speakers are some of the best audio I’ve ever encountered.

None. Salvia, at least in my experience, doesn't really have the executive function operating until very late in the process.

I disagree. Salvia was the most profound experience I’ve had from a drug. I got to witness a reboot and POST of myself, with discrete functions coming back online in stages. Nothing has been like that before or sense. Twice was enough. I le

If you can connect to a friend's jellyfin, you can also get the UI package delivered from the friend's server. They've sort of conflated three different ideas - one, the non-browser clients are separate and need a way to sele

I love jellyfin but their web model is just bizarre. Why on earth, when you go to 192.168.whatever:8096 does it ask you what server you want to connect to? Like.. THE ONE SERVING THE PAGE. Just now I decided to connect to Jellyfin over tail

I think you’re basically ignoring the history. I cited the MAPS example specifically because it was a highly observed study where the people involved were incredibly aware of what had gone wrong in the past with psychedelic-assisted therapy

You should perhaps consider that most people would rather die than be tortured to death and perhaps we feel the same way about animals even if we eat meat - especially primates.

It makes it impossible to write a general purpose dissector that takes captured messages or bytes and figure out how to parse it. All they needed was a varint at the head of any marshaled from to at least provide some scoping clue.
