Having controlled psychedelics could be safer - especially in the raving community where too often deaths occur from dangerously mixed and pressed substances. There has to be a more comprehensive study done on its neurotoxicity. Or more stu

Are there any guarantees for seats, or is it just whatever is available? Are there compensations for delays? Considering that one-way flights at its cheapest are $49 + a negligible price for TSA-pre, is the value proposition the convenience

There might be potential bias here - people who work at intense startups probably don't have the work-life balance to browse HN and comment on here right now. /semi-sarcasm

Sadly, genetics like height/physique can no longer be an excuse in the Men's game since there are players like Messi (even as an outlier). This contrasts sports like basketball and American football. At least for the US, would it

I read their re-design announcement and am really confused. Did they actually conduct user studies? focus group studies? research? proper A/B testing? The general consensus seems that the re-design has a horrible user experience for mo

I only know a handful of people that pre-ordered this. Can anyone justify buying the Roadster over other cars in the same tier? I love how fast it is and all these nifty features but I personally feel that the design is lacking compared to

I wish you the best. One thing that really helped a lot of my peers is Ketamine and there are treatment centers available in big cities.

The narrative sucks but nations being competitive with each other is a pretty powerful driving force for people. I'm not sure about the U.S., but from my personal experience working in a multi-national industry, and also being East Asi

The sad thing about this is that there aren't better alternatives. MBPs are designed extremely well and not many Windows laptops are comparable. Windows is a complete mess. I also don't think premium Chromebooks are marketable (Ch

I've followed this company carefully since its start and also know the founder when he used to work at Facebook. He's a talented PM. I'm always curious how this company will truly scale? Having this club at nightclub and bars

Google and Facebook have tons of private repositories hosted on GitHub. I'd imagine it would be illegal for Microsoft to look into them but Microsoft being such a huge company, this acquisition could easily make Google and Facebook ner

Worked at an OEM. We preloaded Facebook apps in our phones in exchange for user data. I can't provide more information on how the data was used but I would trust Facebook on this case.

I used to work on Tablets with Google. Tablets have higher margins so it's a very attractive business for OEMs but compatibility was definitely an issue. Tons of Android apps weren't developed with screen compatibility in mind so

Our OBGYN also told me AMH level is a good indicator of ovarian reserve. I did dig in deeper and found quite a bit of official resources backing this claim. Is there any supporting evidence on why it's not "well-validated?"
